How we made a preparation video for our Mock Scanner

Many hospitals wants to have a MRI movie, but think that it's either too hard or too expensive to make one.

We want to show you how you can make your own, unique video for your MR department on a low budget, just by using your phone!

1.

Get everyone on board

  • Include the people you need
  • Get hold of personnel to be in the movie
  • Set a time and a date

2.

Create a Script and a Storyboard

  • This steps helps you think through the patient journey and plan what needs to be filmed.
  • A storyboard can be made by adding pictures to a PowerPoint
  • Make sure that the script and storyboard it is tailored to your department.
  • Watch Other Patient Preparation Videos for inspiration

3.

Action

  • Follow the storyboard
  • Capture more than what you think you need
  • Record the script after filming (in case you added something)

4.

Edit

  • If someone in the department knows how to edit, then delegate that to them
  • There are a number of apps for your phone for video editing
  • Add the voice over
  • Add royalty free music ( https://pixabay.com/music/ )
