We at NordicNeuroLab are proud to share highlights from a record-breaking year — with strong financial results, and new innovations.
We at NordicNeuroLab are proud to look back on a year filled with real progress — not just in numbers, but in the steps we've taken to grow, adapt, and keep delivering value to the people who rely on us.
In 2024, our revenue grew to NOK 129.1 million — up 39% from the year before — and our operating profit more than doubled, reaching NOK 22.9 million. We also strengthened our equity position, and closed the year with a net profit after tax of NOK 22.4 million.
“These aren’t just financial milestones — they’re the outcome of consistent effort, smart investments, and a team that truly believes in what we do,” says CEO Thomas Lie Omdahl. “We’ve spent years building a foundation that can support real, sustainable growth. Now we’re starting to see that pay off.”
Last year, we delivered equipment to nearly 200 MRI rooms across the world, a number we expect will grow as hospitals upgrade older systems and new installations continue globally. With approximately 5,000 new MRI systems entering the market each year, the long-term opportunities remain substantial.
Our long-standing presence in the U.S., combined with a dedicated team and strong partnerships, allowed us to move quickly and meet that demand. As Thomas puts it, “We’ve been building toward this moment for a long time — and we’re ready to take it further.”
2024 was also a year of innovation. We introduced a brand-new active noise cancellation system, now being installed in European hospitals, with FDA clearance expected soon. At the same time, our sister company NordicImagingLab launched new diagnostic software for advanced neuroimaging — giving clinicians better tools to work with, and patients a better experience.
As we enter 2025, our focus remains on what matters most: delivering reliable, high-quality solutions that support hospitals, researchers, and radiologists around the world. We’re excited about what’s ahead — and grateful to everyone who’s been part of this journey with us.
Since 2001, we’ve been developing complete, research-driven solutions for functional MRI (fMRI), MR-compatible communication, and patient comfort.
With systems used in over 70 countries, we’re proud to support hospitals, clinics, and research institutions working at the forefront of neuroimaging.
